About The Site

Well hi there!
My name is Owen Ford, I'm a fourteen year old girl, and I run this blog with my friends and family! I created HOPES to raise money for WWF (World Wildlife Fund), specifically for Siberian Tigers! Our goal is $5,000, and we're about halfway there!

Along the right sidebar you can donate, visit our Artist Commission Page, take part in the current auction, see our current total, join our mailing list and a lot more!

Thank you so much for checking us out, we really appreciate it!

Hey everyone, Here's an Update and such:

OK, so. Still waiting, well, fort of. I'm not exactly sure. Anyways, I plan on having sort of a re-opening once this gets all worked out, which it will, because we'll MAKE it work out. LOL. I'm thinking maybe, like 2 or so days after it gets all cleared up on paypal and eBay, I might start lots of auctions, and such. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for the RE-Grand Opening, I'm open to them. Like, ways to spread the word around. But not yet. Once it's all cleared up, I'll make a post about the re-opening. So if anyone wants to make posts on their blogs or myspace pages about the site on re-opening day that would be a major help. Oh, and guess what everyone. Mom was walking down-town, and came across this metal wall-hanging cat on the sidewalk, and she brought it home, for me and grandma to fix up. I am going to sand the rusty spots off, and paint it. Maybe paint it like a cat, or paint flowers and plants on it, which my grandma's very good at, who knows, we'll see. And I am going to maybe paint a Lynx or Tiger on a canvas, to auction. Who knows. And mom and I can make lots of bookmarks, cause we have tons of new beads, THANKS AGAIN Marilee!! So, I have big plans for the site. I just wish all this legal stuff would be over with, but, oh well, more time to make stuff to auction off! :D Thanks again everyone for sticking with the site!!

Owen

I don't bring flowers in because my cats eat them, so I vote for painting it with flowers!

Our cats eat them too! Or rather, lay on them. My dog decided my flowers were chew toys, and they are starting to just now come back to life, luckily. LOL. I have sketched out the flower design I am going to paint on it, I'm excited!

Heh. Nina, I'm on the board of a small non-profit that auctions beaded items once a year and it's amazing how many relatives bid for the items! Our items for next March aren't photographed yet, but you can see earlier years' items here.

As another way to raise money, we auction things on E-bay. These things can range from hand drawn digital and pencil animal pictures, animal paintings, animal themed bookmarks, and more. No, not everything is animal themed, we just prefer it to be since we are raising money for animals. If you have something you'd like for us to auction, you can send it to us. As I'm 13, I have to always ask my parents before I give out the address, so you will have to contact me with some info about what the item(s) is, and such. Then I can give you the address. :D
Thanks,
Owen.

Thanks to Pyzam for the awesome Layout. Thanks to WWF for doing such a great job helping and protecting our wildlife. Thanks to all my friends and family who've helped. Thanks to MC for the name, it fits perfectly!!! The logo is (C) to HOPES, please do not steal, or re-use in any way. ( Although I couldn't draw a paw, so I heavily refferenced it, and I don't know who originally did it. ) We are a non-profit orginization. Any money HOPES earns goes to the WWF.
